Detailed Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your 3 days Bwindi gorilla habituation safari will start with pick up in either Kampala or Entebbe then start the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Have a break at the equator line then continue to Mbarara for lunch. After Lunch continue with the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Check in, relax, have dinner and overnight at prior booked lodge.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Habituation Experience
This morning, wake up very early in anticipation of an amazing day as you go for a gorilla habituation experience. Have early breakfast, carry packed lunch and water then head to the Rushaga headquarters for a briefing session before going for the habituation experience. During the briefing, you are given guidelines to follow during the habituation and stay with the mountain gorillas.
You then start the trek with a hiking stick given, a total of 4 persons are allowed to go for a habituation experience each day. The guide that takes you to meet the gorilla group follows the verbal calls from the guides who go there much earlier to track the gorilla movement. That’s why the chances of meeting the gorillas is 100%. On meeting the gorillas, you then spend a maximum of 4 hours with the gorilla group.
After the 4 hours, you then trek back to the park headquarters for a de brief. Meet your guide for a transfer back to your hotel for refreshment and relaxation from the trek.
You stay at the previous hotel where you relax and have dinner.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
From hotel, you will be driven back from Bwindi to either Kampala or to the Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. You will have a stop at the Igongo cultural centre and also visit craft shops if you are interested in purchasing some items. Your guide will ensure drop off at agreed point marking the end of your 3 days Bwindi gorilla habituation safari.
