Activities done in the 3 days Rwanda gorilla tour include gorilla trekking, the visit to the Ellen Degeneres Gorilla Camp and Kigali City tour.
The only habitat to the world’s remining mountain gorillas in Rwanda is the Volcanoes National Park where several gorilla families have been habituated for gorilla trekking. Travelers from all over the world can trek the mountain gorillas as long as they have purchased the gorilla trekking permit and are above the age of 15. The trip is ideal for travelers who are solo, couples, groups or families.
Detailed Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport & Pick Up
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, our representative outside customs and immigration hall will meet you. He will then introduce you to your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali (15min drive). On arrival at the hotel you will check in followed by dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast (06:00am) and drive to the park headquarters with packed lunch and water. Attend to a briefing by senior park warden on the ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ while with gorillas.
Gorilla Trekking through steep and slippery Virunga slopes is so strenuous and takes 2-8 hours depending on gorillas’ movements. At least an hour is allocated to the visitors in the presence of the gorilla group. After the beautiful trekking experience, you will then return to the park headquarters and later to your lodge for refreshment.

Day 3: Kigali City Tour & departure
After breakfast, you embark on the journey back to Kigali. Have an optional half day city tour and depending on your departure flight, you can go for a Rwanda coffee experience with Question Coffee a purely local Rwanda women project. Have Lunch in Kigali and later transfer to the Airport where the tour ends.
