Entebbe International Airport is the only airport in Uganda and serves as a major gateway for international travel to Uganda. The Airport is situated approximately 6 kilometers southwest of Entebbe town, on the shores of Lake Victoria. The airport has a rich history and was originally constructed in 1928 and since then, it has undergone numerous renovations and upgrades, making it a modern and well-equipped facility. About Uganda Airlines

The Uganda Airlines is the national flag carrier of Uganda. It was originally established in 1976 and operated until it was liquidated in 2001. Requirements for traveling through Entebbe International Airport

Before traveling to Uganda just like any other destination, there is a set of documents that you are required to carry along with. Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be required to present a number of documents as explained below;

Passport. A passport is a legal travel document that is issued by a government, containing a persons identity. It is issued for international travel purposes. Proof of Funds. Just like many other countries, upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be required to present your proof of funds which in most cases is a bank statement, cash or credit car. This is to ensure that you have enough money to spend while in Uganda.
